We got tired of swiping. So we built something better.
Tango is a dating app built at Texas A&M for Aggies who are done collecting matches and ready to actually go on dates.
By Aggies, for Aggies.
We watched our friends spend hours on dating apps and have nothing to show for it but ghosted conversations and screen time. The apps were working exactly as designed: dating apps make money when you swipe, not when you meet.
So we flipped it. Tango gives you a small number of curated, compatible Aggies. You pick. You both commit. We handle the date: the venue, the time, the icebreakers. You just show up.
And for Couples already together, we do the same: no more "where do you want to go?" back and forth. We find the spot that works for both of you.
